Tuesday 6th August saw the demise of yet another of our well-known and respected colleagues, Arthur Rigby.
Arthur’s funeral has been arranged for Tuesday 20th August 2019, at Minsterworth Church at 12.00 midday. Following the interment there will be a Wake at the local Village Hall.

Arthur Rigby had two brothers, John, a patternmaker and Jim, a fitter. All had been apprentices at Fielding and Platt. They also had a sister Jean. Jim and Jean are the only two still with us.

A great character and a very funny man, as I said in one of my posts a few years ago, that if there was a lot of laughter coming from the spares bench area you would probably find Arthur there! RIP Arthur.
