  • Very sad news to hear about Pete and RIP mate.
I worked with Pete for a few years whilst serving my Apprenticeship in the boiler yard. What a kind and lovely man he was and he always had time to help me as an apprentice to learn from him. Also spent many a Saturday or Sunday afternoon playing football together at Minsterworth and also at Fielding’s sports ground. He was also kind to me on many occasions giving a lift home in his car as he lived close by.
    Rest in Peace Pete.

  • That is very sad news about Pete, I remember him from my days at F&P, a nice man, he worked in the Boiler Yard, on the plate section if I’m not mistaken. R.I.P
