BRYAN KEMMETT

We are saddened to announce that Bryan passed away on 15th April 2021 at the age of 88.  He left Central School and  started work at the Company as an apprentice in August 1948, from the same school and in the same intake as Brian Billingham and Bryan Mason. Unfortunately, a photograph of that intake has yet to be found.

After finishing his Apprenticeship, Bryan commenced National Service in the Navy, finishing up as a Petty Officer.

He then returned to the Company and joined a skilled group of workers in the Tool Room.

Bryan’s funeral Service was held at Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday 29th April. A Memorial Service is planned for later in the year, probably in June. This will take place at Minchinhampton Church.

  • I worked with Bryan in the toolroom during the early 1960’s.
I remember his dry sense of humour and his help whenever needed.

Ed: David, many thanks for adding your contribution about working with Bryan. John B
