16MN Horizontal Extrusion Press, transfer from road to barge, Rotterdam, O/No. E96050, c.1979

Order E96050 for Kunstoff und Metall GmbH, Werl, West Germany, c.1979

As can be viewed from this photo gallery, the press was transferred in Rotterdam from its road trailer via a very large mobile dock crane into a barge. Subsequent travel by barge through the Netherlands and West Germany to Werl, offloaded and transferred a few kilometres to the factory by road.
