  • This bender was used for both hot and cold bending of steel plates for pressure vessels. Temperature-controlled bending of alloy steels to maintain steel properties was performed. I was a metallurgist for the firm in the late 1950s.

  • Hi Roy!  Many thanks for your contribution. Can you recall the type of alloy steel and the thickness of the plates that were bent on the machine?  What were the pressure vessels used for?  John B
