Note that the first photo includes the words ‘Tweddell’s System’ cast into the frame. This can also be seen on other machinery of this era, and earlier. It is unclear the point at which this was dropped. It is estimated that the machine was produced in the 1920s as it is very similar to a bender shown in the catalogue of 1928.
In the second photo, note the wooden steps leading down into the crane cab. No problem with Health & Safety then!
