  • I’ve got a feeling that I worked on at least one of these presses with John Mabbett, but sadly can’t remember anything about the construction of it. Chippy Aston.

    Ed:  These presses were very popular and a quantity were produced by F & P for G K N over a number of years.  I seem to recall that they had fully pre-stressed columns, that made for a very rigid structure.  Pete Sutton is the ‘operator’, by the way!  John B
