  • Hi John!  I vaguely remember this machine being built in Hydraulic 2. It was about the time I first went into Hydraulic 2 to ‘finalise’ as a fitter after a year going round the works, spending varying amounts of time in the different departments of the factory. I think Peter Wood went to British Oxygen to install the press. In photo numbers 2 & 4 is Pete Sutton, our foreman, In photos 3/5/6 is, I’m sure, Dave Read and in number 7 is Pete Skelton from the photographic department.

    I still have a Soda Syphon that Pete Wood got for me from site. Chippy Aston.
