The Gloucestershire Archives recently uncovered a DVD that I believe is this press in operation. There is no record of the donor or any information regarding the occasion, however, I surmise that it was produced following a refurbishment undertaken by F&P personnel, or maybe another firm totally unconnected with F&P. There is no commentary but the sounds of the press and hydraulics and factory noises can be heard in the background. There is no tooling in the press and the operator is testing the main ram crosshead movement and also the vertical ejector rods that emerge through the lower fixed crosshead. If anyone can shed a light on this DVD, then please Add a Comment at the bottom of the page. John B
