  • Thanks Nigel – what a formidable memory you have! I wonder what memories seeing this photo again brought back for you of your time in the Craft School with Bert?!

    Something which has been puzzling me about this photo is why some of the lads are in suit and tie and some you are in your boiler suits? I wonder if you can help shed some light on this please?!

    Also, Bob remembers Mr Cromwell as “Oliver” – was this one of the many nicknames you no doubt had for each other in the Craft School?! It’d be great if you can recall some of them too!
