This group of six H3 Pumps were fitted with 1 1/2″ dia. rams, rated for 5000 psi.  They formed part of an order for a 50 gal air/water hydraulic accumulator station supplying power to a F & P 2000 ton Forging Press.

The first overhead-mounted-motor version of this pump was introduced in 1963 for English Steel Co. as a result of a need to minimise the space required for installation.
