This quality photograph was located in 2018 from a batch of early photos, scanned and added to the page.
The press is located in the pit in Bay 2 of the works.
An interesting feature is to note the line-shaft mounted on the stanchions some 20′ high running the length of the shop with pulleys and belts that operated lathes located at ground level in Bays 1 and 2.
