This brochure/leaflet is reprinted from Sheet Metal Industries, October 1970.

It describes in some detail the principles of the Deep Drawing & Ironing (DDI) process as used by KTM Engineering Ltd., in the 1970s. The goodwill of that company was obtained by Fielding & Platt and development and manufacture of a wide range of DDI presses resulted.
