To commemorate the forthcoming centenary in 1966 the company commissioned a  colour film and this was produced by the company’s photographic department over the preceding two years. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints around the time of the centenary, only the Centenary Book was finished; the film was never completed and remained in uncut form until discovered in the Gloucestershire Archives wherein some of the early company records are stored.

In 2019 the film was digitised, edited and a part-commentary attached.  The film shows equipment made by the company around commencement of the 20th century, most of which was still in operation at the time of filming in the ’60s.  This is therefore a modern-day interpretation of what the Centenary Film may have looked like at the time.  Enjoy!
