In the first photograph are pictured Mr Stammers (with his hands behind his back) talking to Mr Strauss (with his back to the camera in the hat in the foreground of the picture). Mr Parmenter (the Works’ Manager) is pictured with his arms folded in the middle of the photograph and Bert Ely can be seen in front of the metal fencing in the hat in the back right of the picture.

In the second photograph are pictured Mr Stammers (third from the right) talking to Mr Strauss (second from the right). Bert Ely in his hat is on the far right hand side of the photograph in a group including Jim Fielding who has his back to the camera.
