An automatic hydraulic 'Hypactor' Extrusion Press is shown at work producing tubes from cold Aluminium billets.  The whole installation is explained, from pumps, accumulators, and controls.  Also shown are the automatic billet feeding and extraction devices to enable not only high speed extrusion but high speed handling.  A highly technical film for the specialist engineer of non-ferrous alloys.
