  • Harold Price, front row second from the left, good friend of father Maurice and Uncle John “Jack” Goddard and godfather to my sister Lorraine White.

  • Thanks John! Do let George know about the photo – I’m sure he’d love to see it & maybe it’ll even bring back a few memories?! It would be good to hear more about the Pattern makers and Pattern Shop – no doubt they were never short of bats, stumps, and bails in the cricket team with pattern makers around…?

  • Yes the person in question is George Holland, who happens to be my wife’s cousin, and yes he did work in the pattern shop as a pattern maker.

  • Thanks Chippy! I wonder if anyone can tell if that is Dutch for sure? Do you have any memories of him?

  • Front row, third from left, may be ‘Dutch’ Holland who used to work in the Pattern Shop? Not sure. Chippy Aston
