The first was photographed 19 March 1891.

The second and third photographs are of the same machine but retained under collection D7338 and recorded in the register c.1964.

It is not known whether this is the first or second press that was ordered within a very short period of one another.

  • Hi Ollie. Very nice photo, thanks a lot. I know that the first machine had been installed in December 1890, followed by a second three months later, which was transferred to the Adamant Company in 1897. I think both were three-mould. What do you think? Is this a photo of the first one or the second one?
