This copy of the Modern Hydraulic Machines, 1899, was extracted from ‘The Paul Regester Collection‘.
Note: – On page 2, each machine was supplied with a ‘Code Word.’ Communication at the end of that century and into the new century was expensive and therefore all brochures of the time, certainly up to the 1930s, contained both code words for machines and code words for delivery, terms and conditions. In this way an order could be placed by telegram from overseas using a minimum of words.
