This paraffin oil engine is still in working order and was photographed by a friend of John Davis’ at Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre, West Sussex.
The engine was gifted to Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre in 1984 by Humphries Brickyard, Staplehurst, Kent.
Following contact with the museum to establish more details, we were delighted to receive some additional photographs of this engine together with a video of the engine working and we are indebted to David Ballantyne for providing these. (other pics will be added later).
