Hi, the spectator name missing is Colin Taylor (welder). I think the man presenting cup is Dick Simmonds who donated the cup and also Simmonds was the name of a team in the Sunday League. Dick Simmonds was a well known book maker in Gloucester.
Just came across this ‘photo and can add that the chap the other side of me is Colin Taylor (pre-beard days !). On the far right end of the back row is Ken Keeling holding his son Paul, I married Ken’s sister Sue a couple of years later !
Hi, the spectator to the left of Pete Vallender is Colin Taylor who worked as a welder in the Boiler yard. I think one of the men presenting the cup is Dick Simmonds who owned a betting shop in Gloucester and sponsored the cup, possibly the one nearest the camera.
Yes. Regards Tony
Thanks for adding this page Tony – it’s brilliant! Is this the same team from the late 60s / early 70s team whose team photograph you added earlier?
