It may be the tool box of Ron Donavon who worked on this stretcher.
Hi John! Just been having a look at these photo’s and in number three could that be Cyril Rice in the distance standing by the side of what looks like a new packing crate. I remember Cyril always seem to wear a cap and an old sports jacket over his ‘bib and braces’ overalls. Also in the right hand corner of the photo are two tool boxes, one without a name on it, but the other does have a name, unfortunately the middle of the name is obscured by the padlock! Would Mr Rigby have any ideas as to whose box it might have been? It looks like R. DO??VEY. I can’t zoom in any further to get a better look. Chippy Aston.
