Post updated in April 2021 with a new photo supplied by John Davis. Nice that the Australians appreciate saving some of their history!

These photographs were taken by John & Jan Davis during their recent visit to Australia in August 2014.

John’s studious expression suggests that some design improvements were in his mind!

It is assumed (by John B) that the steel strap around the vertical cylinder was a later addition and introduced to reduce ‘flexing’ of the main frame.
