The press was originally built in 1932 and was subject to a later modification to increase the daylight and stroke to 18″ and 8″ respectively.
The quality first photograph illustrated was located in 2018 from a batch of early photos, scanned and added to the page. It illustrates the press at the time of its original installation. The later photographs may have been taken at the time of the press modification.
