  • Hi John!  I don’t remember this particular machine because the photo was taken in 1964 and that was the year I started at F&P. What I can say is that I think the fitter in the distance of photo number 1 is Dave Lawrence and it looks like he is talking to Pete Sutton. I can’t make out who the other person is standing there.  Chippy Aston.

  • Hi Chippy!  You may well be correct.  I tend to agree with you on both of the names. Hopefully someone else who worked in Hyd. 2 at the time will confirm it.   John B
