The Works

Here you can listen to memories of Fielding & Platt's Works, its different departments, and their own unique sounds and smells!  You can also see pictures and maps of what their premises looked like in both the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Do you remember its sights and sounds, its offices or workshops, and their characters?  If so, we'd love to hear all about them! Leave us a message on our message board and we'll get in touch!
